If you’re looking for a place to start go to the mod section of Civ V and look for these mods. Scenarios are one simplest ways to get into the mod scene. These mods generally let you play out specific times and places in history. Currently, the best of these available is the Spanish Civil War scenario. This Mod lets you play as either side in that war and balances them well. It might even give you a feel for the real war. The only real problem with this mod is that, like with many scenarios, it is a bit difficult to set up. You need to find the right map in the maps section, choose to use it, find the button under that map that says play scenario, select that and then choose the leader you want. So what is Danganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp?ĭanganronpa S: Ultimate Summer Camp (DRS) is a spin-off of the Danganronpa series based on the bonus mode from Danganronpa V3, called "Ultimate Talent Development Plan" (UTDP), which is a Board Game where you train your characters (aka The Students of Hope's Peak Academy) to polish their talents (aka raise their stats and teach them skills) and send them to fight against various enemies in RPG-like battles. How does this game connect to the main games in the series? Like UTDP, it's an Alternate Universe (AU) that tells a story that goes "What if the Killing Games never happened and all the characters from the main games went to Hope's Peak Academy together".
Does this game reuse the friendly events / interactions from UTDP? DRS specifically takes place at the end of UTDP, during the last month-and-a-half. While this game does reuse several assets like character sprites, music, and gameplay elements, all the writing in the game is entirely new. You train your characters, you do battles, you get coins you use to get more characters, repeat process. The more characters you train, the more interactions you get and you advance the main story.
